Guest
A win for VA trans youth! Today the Supreme Court refused to hear an appeal by a Virginia school board seeking to reinstate a bathroom ban for transgendered youths. The school board was seeking to restrict bathroom uses to that of their birth assigned sex. The ban was deemed unconstitutional by lower courts in a previous case. Nickypie101 1,591
It’s relieving to know that even with a majority conservatives on the court, they are still able to make some sensible decisions following the constitution. Really hoping it stays this way and Biden gets to appoint a judge soon!

It's something that we might have to fight down the road, as conservatives appoint more justices and judges that don't subscribe to that kind of judicial review, but for now it's saving rights left and right! I see what you mean! Similar to the way they threw out the Republican attempt to repeal Obama care due to legal standing and not the actual argument. While they may disagree, I’m glad they’re following the proper procedures and throwing out cases appropriately (for now)
