Ed said on 2017 interview "...You’ve seen them become the biggest artists in the world, and then suddenly they will say, ‘I know everything!’ And just after, they are no longer at the top... The smartest thing to do is listen to people who know I do not want to do the Super Bowl years later, after my biggest success, just to prove I’m still relevant"

I don't know if there were other times he kinda dragged Gaga.

his persona in his songs/instagram is SO different than his interview persona. he’s so arrogant.

Well do you guys like Everytime I Cry by Ava Max? Or Move Like Jagger by Maroon 5? They got similar vibe.

It's just not Ed. 🤷‍♂️

I've heard that said about Gaga too 😅😅 Can't artists diversity? Why do you want them to stay stagnant? He put out Afterglow a few months ago and ppl complained that it was the same old boring stuff from him...

He really isn't arrogant. He always pays tribute and compliments other artists and supports younger artists. He's been a huge artist for 10 years now so he knows what he's talking about. Hes very honest about being ambitious but also clear that he's putting the work in. Touring for 3 years even after breaking his wrists. He's also realistic and knows that he won't stay on top forever so that's why he rode the wave so hard. I really don't get why ppl think he is arrogant bc to me it seems like he can be self deprecating to a fault, saying he's not where he is bc of his looks and that the trolling gave him anxiety to the point where it affected his life and he had to delete twitter. I feel like any interview with Ed is WAYYYY more honest and down to earth than pretty much anybody else in the industry.

It increased in position #16 to #12 in the US Spotify. It’ll gain more traction as Tyler’s  and Doja’s songs drop.

This! I’ve seen more Ed interviews through the years than I can count and he has always come across as very humble, he just has high ambitions, which most artists do. He pours his heart and soul into an album he’s proud of so he then wants to put in the work to help as many people hear it as possible, which is natural. And you’re right, he always reaches out and offers helps to younger musicians. In the beginning of his career his goals were to be the hardest working and nicest person in the business and I think he’s held up to that. It’s easy to hear a quote or two that have been misinterpreted and have that taint your image of the person, especially if you don’t know anything else about them. Little monsters have watched that happen to Gaga multiple times, as has probably every fan base, so I wish people in general would take the time to learn more about the person rather than despising them based off of the few times the media twisted their words.

Don't worry, Ed will soon disappear in whatever hole where the sun doesn't shine. His music is so useless. I personnaly dislike is high pitch whine. There. I said it.

EDIT : This is only my opinion. It was not meant as flamebait. Sorry.

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

Yup, there's a reason why ppl love interviewing Ed and why they always say he's the nicest guy in the music industry. You can even tell in interviewers demeanor that they are relieved to interview somebody like him bc they know he won't be an a*shole and that he is up for pretty much any questions.
