Bling 31,410
I had no idea Celine covered it but I've been obsessed with that song ever since it came out it's so powerful
Future Lovers 6,926
I love Cyndi but Celine's version is just so powerful. That top note she hits at the tail end of the run up to the final chorus...turned me gay, it's true.

MOT 3,074
8 hours ago, MOT said: I voted for Cyndi, but dear oh dear, there is only one version of this song that counts. 5 hours ago, HuffsAhoy said: I was gonna put this in the poll but I didn't think anyone would actually know it The song was actually written for Roy and he recorded it in 1987. It remained unreleased when he died in 1988. Cyndi released it in 1989 and Roy's version was released in 1992 (thank you wiki). For those who are unfamiliar with Roy Orbison, the first thing to be said is that he was the owner of one of the most beautiful voices in the history of popular music (maybe THE most beautiful, I dunno). He was popular in the early 60's before being buried under the Beatles, Stones etc. His life became touched by tragedy when he lost his wife in a motorbke accident in 1966 and then his two eldest sons in a house fire in 1968. He remained in decline through the 70's and most of the 80's but he made a major comeback in 1987 and was winning acclaim and awards left right and centre when he died suddenly of a heart attack in 1988 at the too-young age of 52. We should have got another 20 years out of that extraordinary voice. One of the greats.
