New day, new word that's offensive. I can’t say for Spanish speaking Latinos but for us, Portuguese speaking ones, the letter x isn’t even that common in our language, specially at the end of words. So it makes no sense using it, there’s no way you can pronounce “Latinx” in Portuguese. Usually in Brazil, for a gender neutral approach, the letter “e” is more commonly used in the LGBTQ+ community (even though there is a wide resistance to the whole gender neutral concept, even within our community).
