My state just put into motion a new plan to waive fees and stuff and install 171 million dollars in putting chargers around the place. I think in the long run it will cost a lot more than that to hit the targets they hope for like half of all cars by 2030ish, but it needs to be done and aimed for with ambition. That's no small number either. Apparently the problem still seems to be getting a hold of cheap models of Electric Vehicles, as so many are priced out of what's affordable for a lower class car user / purchaser. I think this is one of the most important things facing the whole climate change issue, and its because it personally has so many parts involved and so many people actually at stake in the scheme of things. Absolutely. Those things cost a pretty penny. My boss owns one and she said if it weren't for her husband, who's a CEO, she wouldn't have been able to afford it.
