Sweetie my country is literally drowning and its economy is in shambles BECAUSE of capitalism. We're literally living through one of the worst economic crisis in the world right now. So maybe stop making assumptions about people and stop using the "they're just jealous" argument because it high key makes absolutely 0 sense.

And the fact that you think North Korea is a socialist country shows that you have no idea what you're talking about to begin with.

Sweaty, MY country is the US as well so I’m not making assumptions from a third word country as I can only suppose you thought. :billie:

Meant communist* :bear:

Congrats on describing literally 0 people. “People hate job creation” … ?!??! Tell me you’re apolitical without directly saying it™️  You clearly don’t talk to the people you’re criticizing if you honestly believe we’d want to all be so rich we have no idea what to do with it all. Also your statement cluelessly implies societies don’t change… which… sis… yikes. This petition isn’t that serious enough for you to erase the hard work in irl politics people do everyday, but the pro capitalism talking point is so illegitimate ofc you’d cling on to crumbs like this.

Also not you literally saying if people hate job creation, then they should go get a job… ???

I have absolutely no idea what you’re trying to say in your paragraph (?)

What I meant is that capitalism means there’s going to be rich people, because CAPITALISM. And that if people prefer to to split the wealth they should go to a socialist/communist country and see how much better they like it.

I didn't suppose you were from any specific country, you're the one who said people opposing billionaire are from first world countries

And NK isn't communist either, you once again have no clue what you're talking about :fail:

Google says NK is in a socialist state like I originally wrote. Can you enlighten me on what it exactly is then?

This take is completely divorced from reality. Moving is hard, and expensive - luxuries those most hurt by unchecked capitalism have the least of. You cant excuse human abuse by saying “if you don’t like it just leave” - thats literally not the only option - and also the worst one. Especially because again, just capitalism isn’t an inherent feature of a country. People didnt like feudalism (the old dominant hierarchy) and eventually it was dismantled it at an opportune time.

“If you don’t like feudalism, move to another country that supports it” is an argument nobles in Europe used to make,  now imagine saying that statement in 2021

I wasn’t being literal.. I think anyone can inform themselves by watching a documentary or reading a book to learn about the struggles of other economies around the world.

You don't get to be a billionaire without walking over other people to do so. Billionaires create their wealth by exploiting others.

But wouldnt being a billionaire give a person more freedom? More security

gurl focus on your exams. I hope you're young enough that this mindset can be attributed to naivety.

Nobody. Needs. A. Billion. Dollars.

Similarly

Nobody. Makes. A. Billion. Dollars.

Even if you earn 50k/month=>600k a year, which is, let's be honest, EXTREMELY high paid, how many years do you think it takes to make it to a billion?

1.660 years.

Nobody makes a billion through "hard work" or "being genius" It involves hoarding capital (land, resource, means of production), manipulating credit and stock, inflating demands and exploiting labor. It is NOT hard work.

You will learn. Or you wont. But you won't be a billionaire that's for sure. So why not support the side that you're actually on?

This mother****er is evading paying taxes so he can take his little joyrides like this. It’s ridiculous. Conservatives focus all their hatred on immigrants and refugees, while billionaires like Bezos are ****ing them in the ass with no lube.

These petitions are becoming the new cancel culture.

You just don't create change in the world by signing a stupid petition. You take action. For example, you can stop buying stuff from amazon.

Then THAT'S  a real thing.

Yeah and at that point most of the people who signed the petition are like 'yeah no, i like amazon, i'm gonna use it...BUT I HATE JEFF!!!!!!'
