I'm not too familiar with her work (I never watched Nanny McPhee), but based on her appearance, she seems perfect for the character. I loooooove Matilda. I've never seen or heard songs from the musical. Are they catchy and good? I loved Hairspray and Mamma Mia, but I haven't watched musicals recently, because they record the vocals live on set instead of pre-recording them and it gives weird vocal effects when they try to mix (La La Land and Beauty and the Beast etc) What do you guys think? I think they announced the actresses for this project last year. Emma Thompson as Ms. Trunchbull, Alisha Weir as Matilda and Lashana Lynch as Miss Honey.
