the guy they agreed to make PM for 2 years is one of the only politicians that is 100% against any palestine state existing at all so good luck with that. Idk why this coalition decided the most right-wing party gets to have all the leverage. Insane.

That's true but this government will finally have a big amount of left parties in the coalition and Natenyahu is out...so that gives some hope that they'll manage to moderate Bennet. + Yair Lapid is going to be in the next two years and he is very much pro-two state solution.

I guess there's more hope but apparently there was a similar situation in Italy and it didn't work out well? The PM has all the leverage in this kind of deal. There's no reason to believe the other parties will be able to moderate him. If they don't agree with him they can't really do much about it as far as I know (I know very little)
