Why are people on here never happy with Gaga anymore?

The site is not filled with negativity. It’s filled with a bunch of users who reply to ppls negative opinions and then get into arguments over who is right. That’s why threads are flooded with what seems like negativity but it’s really ppl just ppl arguing or complaining about ppl with negative opinions. 
 

I for one think the negativity towards the chromatica era, merch, and gaga’s attitude towards the album/hype from her team is all valid. People are allowed to be disappointed with the lack of content, frustrated and confused over gaga’s lack of effort, and angry when her team posts « sc music video » or « the journey continues » when nothing happens. I love gaga but she’s def not above criticism  and ppl shouldn’t have to hold back their comments for the sake of positivity.

Because we are not teenagers anymore like the majority of this site. This forum has become an american highschool instead of a forum dedicated to the most interesting artist in two decades.

I just can't bother to make threads complaining about something Gaga does, all I do is admire her work. I don't have time and I don't want to waste it arguing with a child about wether it's right or wrong that Gaga did this or that.

Seriously, I wish there was a separate forum for ADULT monsters.

Anyway I don't mind when people voice their frustrations and disappointments; I do the same on here. But there are some posters who try to word their takes as nuclear-hot as possible and I think that over-the-topness garners too many equally-spicy reactions. It probably feels fun to act like that but bleh, not every day of the year please.

Because up until 2013 she set us all up for  a lifetime full of continued gaga fun but instead ever since then she hasn’t followed through on things she said she would do and us fans have been left hanging while other boring artists are releasing content all the time. I feel like I’m gonna be dead before we get another classic fun pop gaga song and video.

And how many times have you entered a thread or made one to complain. 

Its also important to separate those who do complain for the sake of it, and are igniting battles, for whatever reason, and not put everyone in same basket. 

I also see this a lot.  I, myself, one remember one negative thread and the same poster kinda agreeing theyre point was futile. 

This is not an attack, but maybe try not attach too much on negative things and be able to appreciate also the rest

I think many (many, not everyone, so don't come at me!) people are frustrated because Gaga has changed a lot and it's hard to let go of the Gaga we fell in love with in the first place.

It's totally normal that she changed and evolved, but I can also understand people's disappointment towards her. She used to say many things like "pop music will never be low" "pop music is the most important thing" "those crazy outfits are who I am and I'll always wear them" "you'll never see me without high heels" "my life is performance art" "I have dreamed of being a popstar my whole life" etc...

She was giving 1000% of herself for that pop star persona and it's definitely not like this anymore.

Fair and understandable, but disappointing for a lot of people. And why these people (and I include myself in this group tbh) stay here is because Gaga has become a real part of their life and they just can't let go.

If you don't like Gaga anymore because she is open and honest about her mental health, and uses her platform to spread awareness about mental health using her own struggles as examples, then that says more about you than her work ethic. If you don't like what she's doing anymore then that's absolutely fine, you can just leave  

Same goes for anyone else who spends time our of their lives writing posts and complaining about her on an online forum that's meant for her fans
