Just wanted to take a minute to remember a song called Rain On Me by the Legend Cyndi Lauper. :applause: This is the closing track from her Bring Ya To The Brink electro pop album from 2008.

She also released this as a single:

And some people who watched Gossip Girl will probably remember this track from the same album:

Well it's been almost 13 years since the last Cyndi Lauper album with all original material. :bradley:

I used to love that album so much! It's been years since I last listened to it. Thanks for reminding me!

They way Cyndi said 'yes I'll feature the man responsible for your sexual awakening when you were but a teen illegally torrenting Colt and Falcon movies'  :bradley:

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

SKANK

I remember tuning in to watch Cyndi Lauper perform Into The Nightlife on some low budget LOGO award show, and being impressed by another artist's debut performance. She wore a hood, had a lighting bolt over one eye, and danced around with a strange light-up staff in her face. That was my introduction to Lady Gaga.

Cyndi has dipped her toe into basically every genre imaginable; blues, country, musicals, jazz standards, EDM, new wave, reggae, rap, rockabilly. Gaga seems to be of a similar spirit, in terms of genre experimentation, fashion, and activism.

We gotta get these girls in a studio to record some music together.

Oh my God, I haven't thought about Dangerous Muse in a decade. I used to listen to their cover of Everyday Is Halloween all the time.

The memory worm hole you are sending me down. :toofunny:
