Fun Tonight really wasn’t any fun to listen to... which I get is sort of the point, but I think they achieved it a bit too well. It is intentionally structured to be a bit of a downer, with a chorus that sort of builds up to nothing, it does capture the message of the song, I’ll give it that, but in an album of 10’s, this song sort of fades into the background.

UNDERRATED my 2nd fave, almost made me cry the first time and just like FW I don't understand the hate, like, Gaga is literally confessing us her sadness and the lyrics are beatiful, it deserves more love.

Like Free Woman, the song is very simple but unlike the other one it feels empty too. And I don't like that. After the song is done it's almost like I've been listening to some boring filler background music. Yes, you heard it right. Not just background music, not just filler background music, but boring filler background music. Despite the personal lyrics the song sounds awfully vanilla, with no personality whatsoever. Like Julia Michaels had made it.

I think Fun Tonight is correct. It’s clearly not the most memorable one, but I still like it. The reason why I gave it a 6 is because the song clearly lacks something, like a bridge and a proper chorus after the build up. feel like it would sound more cohesive as a piano ballad, after all, it’s probably the saddest song on the album.

Upon my initial listen of the album version, I was disappointed as I really loved the demo. However, the final version has grown on me and it is my most played track after Stupid Love.

I’mma be honest, the demo and final are about the same “goodness” to me, but I’ll give the demo a slight upper edge. But this is about the final. The final really gives me Chainsmoker vibes (which isn’t a good thing). Lyrics are powerful and it’s the strongest out of the tracks so far. Alice’s stronger instrumental gives it a higher score which Free Woman’s lyrics couldn’t save. In short: Alice has a better instrumental, Free Woman has better lyrics but Alice’s advantage is stronger.

By far the most underrated song on this album, after Stupid Love. Yes, the song is a bit basic but for this one it works. It gives the song a bit of charm. In some extent I'm glad the song doesn't have a more intricate production like the previous ones. It gives you time to breathe and somewhat makes the song a bit more universally appealing. I can't wait to blast this song again in the summer while driving in my car. The only flaw the song has is the emptiness in its first chorus, something the 2021 version solved.

Upon my initial listen of the album version, I was disappointed as I really loved the demo. However, the final version has grown on me and it is my most played track after Stupid Love.

I’mma be honest, the demo and final are about the same “goodness” to me, but I’ll give the demo a slight upper edge. But this is about the final. The final really gives me Chainsmoker vibes (which isn’t a good thing). Lyrics are powerful and it’s the strongest out of the tracks so far. Alice’s stronger instrumental gives it a higher score which Free Woman’s lyrics couldn’t save. In short: Alice has a better instrumental, Free Woman has better lyrics but Alice’s advantage is stronger.

It's nice, but the vocal production leaves it hanging for me.

By far the most underrated song on this album, after Stupid Love. Yes, the song is a bit basic but for this one it works. It gives the song a bit of charm. In some extent I'm glad the song doesn't have a more intricate production like the previous ones. It gives you time to breathe and somewhat makes the song a bit more universally appealing. I can't wait to blast this song again in the summer while driving in my car. The only flaw the song has is the emptiness in its first chorus, something the 2021 version solved.

Free Woman was kind-off a grower for me. During my first listen of the album, I wasn’t really moved by the song, I thought it was “ok”. One year later, it’s one of my favorite songs on the album. It gets me in a mood that I can’t explain. Every time it comes on I bop to it. IM A FREE WOMAAAAAANN!!! 9/10
