If you think about it, the whole tribes idea got scrapped because nothing was done with it.

This makes me sick... SL needed to be longer so we could get to enjoy all the details, and also give a proper development to the whole tribes story behind it... it feels like what we got was a short cut or a trailer of the actual 15mins video

I feel like they scrapped white tribe because some people might find it racistic to have separated white and black tribes,so they just went with only black tribe.

Idk if that's the case, she literally put their name on the starting of the SL video, plus the tribe symbol was officially displayed on the Billboard's etc. So if they were scrapping it they wouldn't have included the details.

I don’t think so, it’s much more likely it just didn’t fit. I’m sure there’s plenty of stuff that didn’t get put in that we haven’t seen.

Same! Though I anticipate much of the era just wasn’t ever completed, so much that was planned was probably scrapped before it came to fruition. Hopefully they’ll share concept art with us eventually

It always felt to me like the Stupid Love video was meant to be a big opus a la Born This Way / Marry the Night, like when she uploaded the teaser of her lifting the guy off the ground set to Chromatica I. It always felt like there was a story but then it was cut down into an incoherent mess with a title card to increase streams because a long video cannot be streamed as much. Didn't P!NK just re-release All I Know So Far without the dialogue scenes so it was shorter? I think labels are pushing artists to make short, song only videos and something was lost in the translation.
