ARTPOPIllusion 285 Posted May 21, 2021 Share Posted May 21, 2021 Hi loves <3 So Chromatica is stillll on heavy repeat for me, I think its already my most streamed album of her... anyways I can't get over Enigma... I think it's the best song on the album. It gives me an absolute RUSH, like to the point where I feel like im on drugs lkdkfjdksjfsdjfsdjfdfdsf. The pre-chrous and chorus just slaps for me. I also think because when Chromatica dropped I was working at a really toxic place and during my lunch breaks and on the way home I would always listen to this first because it makes me so happy. Chromatica in general doesn't deserve the hate it gets, especially on Stan twitter, I think it's truly her best album, from beginning to end its so good. & this is coming from a die-hard ARTPOP Stan. Covid19 was such a bad time for everyone and this album was such an escape. I always picture her backstage when the song starts and during the “Is what I am seeing real?” part she is slowly entering the stage on a platform. Once up on the stage she sings the “We can be lovers” part and when the beat drops and “I I’ll be your enigma” the stage lights go crazy, dancers join and the show starts🥳 That bridge is just amazing how she’s answering herself and how she sounds during that “yeah!” and “what?”. I always do that part with a friend🥰 Enigma and Replay are the absolute highlights of the album for me, and it just fits that SAF is following them for a grande finale. 1000 Doves I see as a credits song and then Babylon as a bts/bloopers/surpriseperformance feel good song (love them too, no worries 😉) Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
