Iāve always, ALWAYS felt a deep connection to her, and her candour and vulnerability made this even more apparent.Ā This is tragic, but her bravery is inspiring. And if we go by Marry The Night telling the story of the rape, it happened before being dropped by Def Jam. So the producer would be aĀ noted one associated with Def Jam artists at the time. When she first revealed to us about her assault, along with the few information she gave us, I made an educated guess.
