I just watched it again and I ... well I - she said this:

O.O locked away... for months?!!  Jesus... I... I missed that bit earlier. This is gruesome...  could it actually explain why she even got pregnant..?. because if she had been allowed to leave right after the first time it happened, then wouldn’t she have immediately taken a pill to not get pregnant...? she always said that she had been raped repeatedly, which now all comes together.

 

and I believe it also explains why she vomited. I read that the vomiting and feeling sick when ur pregnant can already start after 2 or 3 weeks of being pregnant...

I don’t think she’s being literal about being locked up. I think she meant that she was pressured to constantly work in an environment that was toxic and abusive.

I'm not quite sure about that. If she was allowed to leave the studio, don't you think she wouldn't have gone to the next farmacy to get the "morning-after pill" to prevent all this?

No. I don’t think worrying about the morning after pill is something that will be on every woman’s mind after experiencing something traumatic. I don’t know though. These are just my thoughts.

Well.. I'm a woman and I can only speak for myself, but this would probably be the first thing that I would have on my mind if I was raped. I think I'd be terrified if I got pregnant by my rapist. (Only speaking for myself - I dunno how other women see this - but everyone is different and reacts  & thinks differently)

I'm sorry but this is super naive.

This probably wasn't a one-time thing. And it's super easy to think now what would you do after a rape. Probably any scenario that you would think of - won't happen. It's just not that simple.

I just said that I think that this is what I‘d probably have on my mind and that I can only speak for myself. - and I’m not sure if I would react like that since that hasn’t happened to me, so I can only assume for myself.
And yes, maybe it really is naive of me to think I‘d do this or that, because it hasn’t happened to me.

I rewatched the episode again and I would really recommend if you have the time to watch the whole episode, not just Gaga's portion. I think her segment in the context of the rest of the episode is especially meaningful. I think it's a valuable experience for everyone.

I mean idk but she maybe wasn't educated in all that stuff. Could you even buy that easily back then? Would she have needed a prescription? Because then her parents probably would have found out  and I don't think she told anyone..
