My friend worked the booth at Enigma, she said it was a wonderful experience and loves every opportunity she's had to work with Gaga/her BTWF team. Hopefully-she deserves better than a Trump supporter. I know she's a big force behind the foundation, and they do a lot of good work. For example, they gave money to a lot of public schools (I think it was at least 20?) in Nevada to establish mental health counseling (enough to establish a permanent program...so it was clearly somewhat substantial for each school). I was kind of surprised it didn't get more press-the local news covered it a bit. I know they've been supporting some local Black led non-profits in Los Angeles, too (I think that's part of the reason Gaga got that MLK award). I do feel kind of bad for Cynthia. I've been around in the fandom long enough to remember when she got dragged by some fans and even some journo because the opening year for the BTWF was kind of a disaster (probably because she didn't have experience in running a large foundation). She wrote a piece explaining /defending the foundation against the accusations... Seeing as it's been brought up it's good to give it some context.
