“Our Advisory Board members are an invaluable new addition to our Born This Way Foundation team. Our work at Born This Way Foundation is done for and in partnership with young people, and it is our mission to put their perspectives, knowledge, and experiences at the center of our work. That is why we prioritized recruiting Advisory Board members from around the world to advise on our upcoming initiatives to ensure we’re responsive to the needs of youth everywhere," - Miss Cynthia Germanotta.

For the following year, ths advisory board will play a "pivotal role in the planning and execution of programs, campaigns, and projects core to the Foundation’s mission: (1) making kindness cool, (2) validating the emotions of young people everywhere, and (3) eliminating the stigma surrounding mental health."

I know gaga's kindness punk stuff can be cringey to some but i genuinely love that her and cynthia are actually doing something to help youth deal with their mental health. if anyone's interested in reading more, the article is here.

It's weird how the people who think the kindness stuff is cringe can't just go on about their business. She's not forcing anyone to listen to her or live how she suggests.  It's so entitled to get annoyed over something SHE promotes bc that is her right. She's clearly doing a positive thing in the world so the fact that so many of her fans say "I'm so tired" or "ugh so boring" is rude and entitled as hell. It's like with Haus Labs. Every. single. time she posts about it people on here act like it's a personal slight to them. (they also just wanna get in first with the troll comments to get the most likes of course 😅)

I love how she continues to work on the BTW Foundation and it wasn‘t just something quick she did for sympathy and then let die. She truly wants to make a positive change and is doing so much (even if she‘s just leading the foundation by donating, tweeting etc.) there are so many Celebrities who do not use their Plattform like that. I think its admirable how she wants to create a dialogue.

Maya says she's very involved. That she texts her ideas/requests all the time. I think she might be more open to doing more publicity for it if her fandom was more welcoming? Who knows.
