Their stans already collected $60,000++ to buy their new singles off websites. So if they get #1 on BB100, it will based on that, and not about them actually popular with the locals who genuinely listen and seek to purchase/stream their songs.

Cheaters, amiright? :bradley:

Maybe Billboard saw this and that’s why they’re changing the rules :sis:

I don't blame them. This isn't indicative of what's actually popular. It's fans manipulating charts.

There's no ****ing way :air: How did these kids even have money? Stealing their parents credits cards? :bear: This is insanity

Imagine the meltdown of BoTS fans when BB announces that they are removing the website sales from Hot 100. Website sales can easily manipulate the charts.

Maybe. It’s more interesting that Gaga has been dragged in the past for “manipulating” the charts with BTW, ARTPOP, and Chromatica but these fans do it for years and not a single word...

For personal projects like that, nobody would be bothered tbh.

But something like to alter charting in non South Korean charts is not actually acceptable.

i'm a huge fan of them in the past few years and now i'm just a casual listener (i dont wanna associate with the fans) . i just want y'all to know that debuting at #1 for big artists isnt as hard as it was years ago. just like last year broke the record of most number 1 debuts(?).

BTS has 3 number 1 songs in the US with Dynamite as their biggest hit. Life Goes On (which dropped out of Hot100 by its 3rd/4th week im not sure) and a remix with Jason derulo. y'all might question why dynamite stayed on the charts a lot longer then their other singles. it's because their US label Columbia Records supported that single (a full english song) and radio played the song alot + the Samsung promo.

Their new single Butter is also a full english song with the Columbia's twitter promote it a lot. i see it 100% going number 1.

Nothing new for all Kpop groups like BTS, Blackpink, .. etc
views, followers are important to them (many fans thought that)
I think all artists need some vision to speak up for other people and for our planet that is much more important things to do
and I'm okay with BTS or Blackpink if their fans think it will last forever but for me I'm happy for all the artists themself more than what all their fans gonna do it for them :huntyga:
and that's clear .. perfect illusion by lady gaga
