Drake rules Billboard's Top Artists of the 2010s chart and will receive the Artist of the Decade Award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on May 23.

Drake's dominance during the 2010s wins him top honors in the overall top artist category, which ranks the best-performing artists based on activity on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and the Billboard 200 albums tally, as well as social media data and touring revenue from Billboard Boxscore, during the decade.

Honestly, I think it's criminal that Gaga is not included. I mean that decade encompasses TFM era forward. No reason she shouldn't have been included.

Gaga was MIA on the Hot 100 from 2012-18 (with two singles carrying her) so we shouldn't be surprised that she isn't included on this list.

right? i thought at least her social media and touring numbers would have brought her up in the top 10. if i’m not mistaken at least in the first half of the 2010s she was the social media queen

Gaga has always enjoyed more critical than commercial success. She had three eras where she wasn't particularly strong on the Billboard Hot 100.

I mean y'all really surprised? I mean, Gaga's most iconic pop hit to date was only ended at #2, blocked by TikTok. And prior Shallow, ROM, and Sour Candy, Gaga really have very little streaming power on Spotify and Appple Music. That is already tell so much.
