And yes, anyone who's a descendant of a Palestinian refugees should be called refugees. For example, Gigi and Bella Hadid's father is a Palestinian refugee. What's your problem with that? Their number is going up is wrong? At least they have more claim to their own land than anyone coming from Poland or Germany with some sort of a religious claim to a place where they've never ever been, nor did their ancestors at all.

I say you go ask the allies of Israel where they will go. I'm sure they'd love to support their bffs to whom they sell arms to kill Palestinians. After all they helped settlers go there, I'm sure they can help them on the way back!

You will live with Palestinians in their country because you came to their country years ago. No one is telling you to leave but give it back to them because it is their country and coexist with them in their country because for thousands of years muslims, christians and jews coexisted together and then WWII happened.

While I agree that Palestinians should be allowed to live peacefully in their homes and I totally oppose the things happening right now, please don’t pretend Jews were living peacefully.

Gigi and Bella Hadid are multi-millionaires Her dad was the CEO of guess and her mom is a supermodel She is not someone to bring into an argument about refugees. 

They have had silver spoons in their mouth and if they have so much money then why don't they donate it to Palestine.

What does them being millionaires have anything to do with their ethnicity and the fact that they're Palestinians? Aw, poor you, you must thought that a refugee is a term only to be used when someone is living inside a tent, with no food and clothes, and waiting for Angelina Jolie to take a selfie with them Disrespectful and very narrow.

If anything, them being super rich and famous didn't change the fact of how much pride they take in being Palestinians, using their fame and platforms to raise awareness about their cause

Are we going to ignore all the years of peace and progress before those events? Also thise events happend after British people occupied the land and again stole it and gave it to Jews. Just like now, they were provoked. Once they answered, they became bad guys.

I think it’s a grave simplification to call this simply a war of territorial expansion. It’s a war of ideologies as well ( including religion) that stretches hundreds of years before the present day conflict. Indeed the ideas of secularism like nationalism play a central role, but it’s a symptom of ideological differences, religious and by proxy, ethnic and social. Here’s the thing, religion may not be the central source of the conflict as we know it today unlike it had in the past, but instead it acts as legitimacy for the “cause” among the public. We saw it happen in the Rwandan genocide, the Bosnian Genocide, religion plays a role in people either turning a blind eye or fighting. How I view it, institutional religion works hand in hand with despotism. It creates tribalism and gives clemency to leaders to do dirty work without the scrutiny of their own people. In any case, don’t give religion a free pass here. It’s got its roots deep in this conflict as it has in colonization as a whole. Colonization needs a legitimizer to work. In many cases, religion was the easy answer. Progressives who ignore this are hypocrites or simply ignorant.

 

EDIT: i hope everyone is doing more research beyond the infographics. Research into the regions past, pre colonial as well.
