There are even Palestinian jews and christians that are also targeted by Israel because they chose to live in peace with muslims. This is not about religion at all, this is about politics. In the other thread it seemed like there was just a complete lack of education about this topic from many of our fellow Westerners. In our education system and news outlets they hardly go into details about these issues or they typically skew towards being extremely biased on one side of the issue (usually Israel). It's good to get a full idea of the other side's struggles as well and to understand that Palestinians are literally fighting for their existence. Israel is a recognized nation by most of the world, has one of the world's most sophisticated and deadly militaries and even has Nuclear weapons. Palestine is not recognized in any significant manner, has no cohesive borders anymore due to its land being stolen every year by illegal settlements and it has hardly any proper military or self defense capabilities. AND it keeps getting its lands stolen each year and its people displaced or killed. If this continues there will literally be no Palestine at all or a proper and cohesive Palestinian state with logical borders. Let that sink in. The fact that we are so obtuse to the fact that Palestine and the Palestinian people may vanish in under a century due to their land getting cannibilized and their people being pushed out of the holy land and being assimilated into other neighboring Arab countries once they arrive there is truly truly a tragedy that is occuring right in front of our eyes yet no one cares because most Palestinians are Muslim and the media and socitie's perception of Muslims has been absolutely terrible in recent history. Innocent people and children were literally praying inside Al-Aqsa Mosque Yesterday, on what they consider one of the holiest nights of the year, and these barbarians decided to bomb and tear gas the mosque and lock those people inside the mosque while they danced by the thousands at the site of a place of worship on fire and innocent people screaming on the moque's loudspeaker to be let out.
