She works her ass off, even during some supposed "year off" which is complete nonsense. She hasn't had a year off. She's been touring the world for 8 months with only two ~1 month breaks with another one coming. It's not like she's been off in the literal sense of the word. She just hasn't had any music out, which only proves how relevant that she actually is. She still makes those headlines regardless. What other modern Pop b---h could do that? Not many, if any of them but GaGa. GaGa is just relevant. True but simple. GaGa just really does slay us all. I'm always happy when she wins anything, but I understand where people are coming from. Winning awards during your year off is a bit odd. It doesn't have anything to do with what she did in 2012, it just means no one has managed to pass her in 2012. It's not like Michael Jackson and Madonna weren't King and Queen of Pop when they had a year off..... This award just proves she's the biggest out there right now, regardless of what she's done this year.
