I get that. However, the pubs were going to open regardless. Not being prepared is preparing to fail.

It’s hard to explain, it’s just a social thing to do in your community.  I could pop to so many pubs completely alone and known someone to drink and chat with, it’s just the British way :laughga:  The same applies for the couple of gay pubs and bars in my city, if I had no friends wanting to go out, I could head to one and find people to chat and drink with easily.

Try Irish pub culture

Basically every man over 30 vocalized that it was their god given right to go to the pub during the pandemic. Some of the arguments they made were horrendous. Such as “by consuming more alcohol, we are killing the virus out of our system” :rip:
