Each of his singles has had a remix with a big artist ( BL with Rosalia, In your Eyes with Doja Cat, Heartless with Lil Uzi Vert) but of course he is hungry for a #1  just because he is doing it with Ariana.

I have a question for all of you, why are you getting so bitter about artist giving contentto their fans, you all love to hate Lipa, Swift and The Weeknd just because they put out so much content.

Just because Gaga cant do **** for her eras does not mean that every artist with two or more singles, remixes, musical videos, performances(etc) is hungry or desesperate. :saladga:

Ariana is his long time friend and a person he's worked with before, I don't see anything wrong with them collaborating. It sounds great too

What’s the difference between what he’s doing and if Gaga releases the rumored remix Chromatica album with Charli XCX, and whoever else is rumored to be on it?

/this messy thread :poot:

Gaga did not promote the album. Abel on the other hand had a dozen of promo presentations. He dropped multiple videos. He performed at the Superbowl. It doesn't feel "honest" to drop a "remix" of song you already put out months ago and did pretty well. It rather seems like a desperate move to get another Nº 1 to me. I get lots of fans of him and Ari are happy but these trend of dropping a song and when it doesn't do "well enough" dropping remixes to get it to chart higher feels lacking of integrity to the art created in the first place.

It feels like artists are literally saying: I beg you to listen to my song.

The song in itself is good but why not have it be that way since the beginning when he was envisioning the album?

Would you say that Gaga having a feature with Ariana was only for artistic reasons? They are pop artists - part of the art is making it popular. It’s not like she just did background vocals… she has a whole verse and ad libs.

Gaga didn't do a "remix" of Rain On Me to include Ariana, she envisioned the record with her. Same for Sour Candy. Pop as a genre no longer means to be "popular" and that's been a fact for many years. "Pop artists" don't have to be throwing songs left and right to see what sticks. It feels reductive. IMO

lmao y'all are too much with this. The Weeknd has worked with Ariana twice before, this remix is not out of left field. plus it's a good remix so go stream!

I mean a remix is a piece of media which has been altered from its original state by adding, removing, and changing pieces of the item, so this is a remix :poot:

and who cares if he’s desperate for another #1, it adds another #1 to his catalogue if he gets it, and the only people who will remember the “cheap tactics” to get to number one are those messy stan twitter accounts

just enjoy the music :music:

Exactly why it feels unnecessary. Imagine Gaga having 4 songs with the same artists (excluding C2C and soon C3C because those are records and fulfill a different purpose than to chart)

So if everyone says this is white and pink does that make it so?

Im just saying I like the remix, and I don’t feel like he is particularly thirsty for a number one when literally every artist does this with their songs, just my opinion

Tf does it matter. Let people make art without calling it hunger for number ones.

I don't care  more version of this songs are welcomed for me

I don't understand why there is the need to dig problems and bad theories about artists, just let them be, maybe he is, who cares, it's his job, he's looking for achievements just like a tennis players is looking to be #1.

You don't like it don't listen to it and don't support it, just shoosh yourself and let the fans enjoy it.

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
