That may sound underwhelming but remember that we will probably have around +20 Mega Evolutions. So it will be around 100 new Pokemon once you include megas. I also am wondering if they will introduce new Pokemon in the third game. They can do it now. It's possible for them to make them compatible across the generation with an update.
