We had 3 matches in total: the first match was a Triple Battle: Tanner: Leavanny, Samurrott, Chandelure, Braviary, Bisharp, and Haxorus vs King: Hariyama, Scrafty, Whimsicott, Gastrodon, Alomomola, and Heatran. At one point it seemed as if Tanner had it all with his Haxorus, but looking back I won thanks to Alomomola who had Wish and Heal Pulse. The second match was a 1 on 1 and I won that one as well after Haxorus got burned and was unable to inflict much damage. I've never payed attention to EV training or well-planned strategies, but I guess things are gonna be easier in X&Y, so maybe I'm gonna focus more on competitive battles when they're released. I would agree on the last part but I liked some designs, like chandelure, mienshao, scolipede, jellicent, haxorous and hydreigon hahah and more. The fairy bird is also exclusive to Y.
