There's not really a logical reason for a Hoenn remake, though. :shrug:

I don't see why not. :shrug: We're talking like a year or two down the line, and Ruby and Sapphire are already 10 years old. By the time the remakes would be released, they'd be at least 11/12 years old. Plus the GBA (and the original DS with a GBA port) are obsolete. Remakes for Hoenn and Kanto are both logical to me, as they're the most obsolete games in the series.

They'd better make a Hoenn remake after XY. :crossed:

Just posting this so that there's a HQ picture of the Pokemon in this thread. :)

ALSO, yesterday I found this website/youtube channel called DidYouKnowGaming.

I honestly didn't know any of this apart from Clefairy being the original choice for Ash.

The buy it or die. ;-;

Take a moment to think of just flexibility, love, and trust~

Have you guys heard about the website pokedit? You can get absolutely get any pokemon you want on your Gen IV and Gen V games (including any missed event pokemon).

I just learned about it last night on a discussion board on IGN. It's amazing!

The main point of the Kanto and Johto remakes was to be able to have all of the Pokémon through Gen 3 available in one game.

The Hoenn Pokémon are all (or nearly all) available in the games and can be traded through to the current Gen games.

Holy crap, thank you so much for this. I've missed so many event Pokemon

Part 3 of 3:

These facts, even those that are more speculation than fact, are so interesting. :flutter:

GBA is incompatible with the latest Nintendo handheld, thus rendering it virtually obsolete. Not to mention, all three of the Hoenn games have issues with an internal battery running the clock, and if you couldn't patch your game(s) before the battery ran dry, you can't access time-based events (which blocks off certain areas of the game) and eventually, you won't even be able to save.

Hoenn remakes are most definitely needed.
