It's still early on into development but you can go all the way up to Azalea town. :3 Oh and sidenote: READ THIS before commenting As of now: All Pokémon have the Overgrow ability. None learn any moves. It appears that only Bulbasaur and Rattata are the only Pokémon with a move other than Tackle and it's Growl. Don't enter any buildings past Violet City. Some routes have no Pokémon at all. The route leading to Ecruteak City is misshapen and incomplete. I went to Azalea Town before the shop warped me back to Violet and I somewhat ragequit. So basically, all you can do right now is train your Pokémon with Tackle. I did that thing ChikaSkas was talking about and it made my DS I go weird!! It won't let me switch pokemon and my pokemon don't evolve!!! You probably gave yourself a bad Pokemon. What Pokemon have you sent yourself? Lion Heart 15,041 Posted December 10, 2012 Share Posted December 10, 2012 Mightyena and Liepard are a joke; Absol has a terrifying Attack stat, but is way too slow and defenseless to ever be useful; Umbreon has great defenses, but a terrible movepool which renders him useless save for WIsh and Heal Bell. That leaves us with Zoroark as the best generic dark pokemon.
