After watching her Q and A, I’m so ready for this album. She said she is literally not logging into her social media to see what people are thinking about the music or how it’s doing, and this gets me excited. I love Marina, and how she honestly writes about her feelings and where she is at in life. I feel this album is going to be very real, and I know I will appreciate it more if I listen to the whole body of work. Hoping her fans send her love and appreciation for her music. I think it had been difficult for her with the ups and downs of fame and grappling with her identity as an artist. I think she will continue to release if her fans stay loyal and don’t obsess and bother her about being underrated or slept on, because I think she genuinely just wants to focus on the music and the politics behind it is mentally difficult for her. She had admitted herself she is competitive and sometimes is drawn to trying to perform well chart-wise, so I think we as a fan base need to not obsess over it.
