elijahfan 26,675 Posted April 9, 2021 Share Posted April 9, 2021 That might be an unpopular opinion, but I really love the Judas Goldfrapp Remix - Goldfrapp is basically my favorite artist along with Gaga, and her remixes are always true and surprising reinterpretations of the songs. Too often, remixes are just club-ready beats with untouched vocals slapped on them, it's refreshing when songs are actually deconstructed and made into entirely different things. There's also this fan made country version of Electric Chapel that I've always found incredibly brilliant and emotional, a really brilliant way of revisiting the song and proof that the genius of Gaga is that you could basically make any of her songs work with just a piano or a guitar: I also like it when her usual producers give different or extended takes of tracks, like DJWS with Scheisse and Government Hooker, or Fernando Garibay, whose version of FOHL could be considered superior to the album version.
