Um, I don't think this is the reason. Germany is a federal state, too, and every state is doing their own thing. Obviously you haven't met or don't love any old or very ill persons, because for these the pandemic is still a very real danger. I'm personally not extremely afraid and think the endless lockdown can't be the solution, but it is still so important to keep the regulations until a critical mass is vaccinated. Or at least a functioning fast testing system is installed.

That freedom has caused more deaths per capita than here in Canada. Way higher in fact. Seems like a very high price to me

 

I dunno. To me a lot of ppl have sounded very entitled and whinny during pandemic. Their biggest concern has been not being able to party, or go to a concert, or having to wear a mask and of the government tries to enforce it they are being dictators

 

Meanwhile the death toll WW from this is nearing 3 Million
