Well considering the Super Bowl was not the super spreader event the doom and gloom crowd yelled to the top of their lungs it would be, I see no issues here. Great to see people living and enjoying life again; now if only I could be like this at a concert :saladga:

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

34% of the SB stadium was vaccinated.

I wonder how many were vaccinated in this stadium.

The Super Bowl wasn't packed. Many of them were cardboard cutouts.

It's way too soon for these types of things.

Maybe this summer when the majority of the adult population is vaccinated, sure. But right now not enough of the US population is vaccinated to display these types of crowds, especially where people open their mouth, shout, and cheer. Tons of particles will be flying everywhere from peoples mouths.

Plus, if these types of things continue to happen during this stage of the vaccine rollout, there's a chance the virus could mutate into a vaccine-resistant strain. More people need to be vaccinated first, period.

This makes me cringe because I can’t even fathom the crowds anymore. I already was very anxious around large groups of people and now it’s amplified. I get my second dose in two weeks and I hope that helps my anxiety but this just seems too soon. I’m going to need a little bit to adjust.

Thank god we do otherwise we'd be prisoners in our own homes like much of Europe and Canada.
