Vaccinated, here.  Still wearing masks everywhere and even with other vaccinated people as we could still be carriers of it and passing it around.  It's a sign of respect to wear a mask and safe distance. Makes me sad that this country values sporting events and other super spreaders more than demonstrating altruism to one another.  The US needs to get into mask wearing most of the year (e.g., for common colds, the flu, etc).

So you're behind a keyboard fighting for your freedoms when you haven't even left your house? I follow all protocols and have left my house and have lived mostly normally for months. I am fully vaccinated and I AM keeping up the with the science and actually being conservative so we can end this damn thing.

No, I'm just saying the era of shaming people online for going back out into the world is outdated and self-righteous at this point. Ignores all of the facts. You don't know their business so it's time to get out of it.

The facts are only 16% of Texas is fully vaccinated and 28% has received at least one dose. Until we aren't at around 70-80% we need to take precautions seriously.

When your actions put the lives of others at risk, it is my business, like it or not.

Again, you need to be reading science journals daily and you'll have a much more updated understanding. Variants are no longer a major concern and the Pfizer vaccine has been effective against all of them. Not only that, but coronaviruses actually mutate very, very slowly, much slower than the flu. So there is plenty of evidence now to suggest we won't need to achieve herd immunity and that a single vaccine dose is enough to return to the world.

Again, you need to realize we can wait a little more instead of being reckless.

Leave your house and be free, safely. Not everyone is locked up in their house nor are we advocating for it.

Except those concerts are multiple dates so it is more like 5,000 x 3 days or whatever. So yes, huge difference indeed. 1,5000+ UNVACCINATED PEOPLE IN A CONCERT WIYHOUT MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING VS 49,115 VAXXED PEOPLE IN A STADIUM.

Use the arguments you want but at least tell the truth. Barcelona concert was supported by authorities, the attendants were wearing fpp2 masks and they had to go under antigens tests before the concert (plus they are being tracked after the concert). I am sick of manipulating people

In this very tweet it says it hinges on vaccination and hospitalization/deaths.

This is what everyone has been saying in this thread.

Be rational and stop with the faux freedom fighter victim mentality and leave the house cause it’s clearly messing with your rationale.

Who wanted you locked up? :oprah: We had to stay at home cause there's a f**king pandemia out there and almost 3 million people died because of it. I want to believe everybody is happy that we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel

Did you even read what the tweet says? The part about how it depends on vaccination and hospitalization rates? That's literally what everyone has been saying here

There are people in this thread that are treating partying and gatherings the SAME way they treated them 6 months ago. My point is that it's not the same anymore! People truly are not dying from this disease like they were just a few months ago. To ignore that is dangerous and ignorant.

Sure, I understand that, the situation is way better now with all the info gathered and the vaccination process but there's still a long way till most of the population is vaccinated and there's still people dying, so it's also dangerous and ignorant to believe this is all done and we are all "free" again

I agree with you. I don't think it's over. But I do think the era of shaming people on social media for gatherings IS over. The only people that are dying right now are people who refuse to get vaccinated... and is that really our fault at this point? They've had months to do the responsible thing for society.

I'll be fully-vaxxed at 95% protection from the Pfizer vaccine by April 28. You better believe I'm inviting friends over to my house for the first time in a year after that. And no one better try to shame for doing so.

This is so crazy to see and read for me. How is this possible? Surely the open Covid cases haven't decreased so much in the US that it wouldn't be a problem at Mass gatherings anymore? Have all of then been tested beforehand?

We are in the seventh month of lockdown, friends are falling into depression, all restaurants and the cinema in my neighborhood are bankrupt and there is no perspective on change whatsoever:eww:
