Zeth 929 Posted April 5, 2021 Share Posted April 5, 2021 I love Chromatica, and I think it's a huge shame it never had a chance to really shine due to the virus and social unrest, but I would pick ARTPOP Act II in a heartbeat over an album of remixes from Chromatica. The music was far more experimental, Gaga refused to play safe when it came to imagery and lyrics, and it, too, had suffered many chances to glow due to poor management and money hungry executives. I mean, a remix nowadays could mean anything. Its not just a garage band remix that people do on soundcloud, that's not what a remix album would be like. Bloodpop has said multiple times last year that there's many versions of the Chromatica tracks. We also have the SOPHIE tracks, as well as some remixes like the Charli XCX 911 that we could hear. I think it would be amazing to hear the other versions as well as the unreleased tracks from this era in a 'remix' album, and maybe have some features of the Chromatica tracks already released. I'd much rather have that than a 2nd part of an album that's 8 years old, that could leak regardless, that probably is unfinished... I mean, I'm here for ALL Gaga content including previously unreleased tracks from previous eras being released... but I'd rather have something fresh than something that's old, but new to us. I could care less about an album full of rejects from an album that put Gaga and her team through tremendous mental anguish and also contains some of the most basic music of her career.
