Chromatica has some of the most personal lyrics she’s ever written, maybe even the most. The poetry in them is on another level. There’s no doubt that bloodpop was a driving force and equal to her in the making of the album, but she was definitely not just in the passenger seat. She seems very busy right now in particular and she has to be in a specific mindset to create music.
