ARTPOP ACT II Petition Thought... Dont Sign It

I keep seeing about this petition but i have an opinion I wanna share...

 

I think some of yall are being a little selfish or insensitive tbh.

 

Either its not that easy to release it for legal reasons (artists rarely have full say in these matters) or she doesnt want to. But either way she shouldnt be put under this kind of pressure

 

And im not sure how nice it would be in the off chance she did release it, if she did it just to shut everyone up cuz she was annoyed but didnt really want to. Thats not a good reason for her to release it

You do have a point but Gaga's always been indifferent about the unreleased stuff that got leaked as far as I know, right? So why would this specific material be any different than, for example, Out of Control?

Edit: We never know whether she actually never wanted to release those songs or not. Let's remember how depressed she was during the ARTPOP era because things didn't happen the way she wanted, and ARTPOP II could be a part of that. Maybe she does want us to know about this stuff.

I’m confused, did DJWS not just encourage us to keep pushing? He alluded to the fact that it wasn’t even Gaga’s decision to not release it. We have no idea how Gaga feels about those songs and it’s entirely possible that she thinks we don’t even care about it anymore. If anything we will get some closure if we make this big enough and she makes a post about it. Gaga’s not one to release just to shut people up lol

I really think some of you are reading too much into this. Petitions are known for not doing much either way. If fans want to show their love for the album and their desire for more from it then where's the harm? It's not like they're spamming Gaga with threats or banging her front door to release Act II,  it's just an online petition. I highly doubt it's causing anyone any sort of pressure. And DJWS sounds happy by it and he's a huge part of Act II. I really don't get why this is being taken so seriously and threads are being locked for it.

Also the fact that she sang Brooklyn Nights at the ArtRAVE proves she’s not really mad that we’ve heard leaks

Gaga's friend and producer was the one to give and support this idea.. I don't see the issue. We actually don't know for certain if she wants to release it or not and what the label would want, or if she is past that traumatic stage and maybe re-visting and enoiying the songs again. It's not that big of an issue, and most of us know nothing will happen, at least for now.

I think after all these years Gaga is well aware many fans want it, she doesnt live under a rock. I think this becomes pressure at this point to still be demanding this years later

 

If she could AND wanted to i think she would of released it by now but obviously has her reasons not to

Edit: if thats true and she wants it out and didnt do it as a joke, then theres legal stuff at play no doubt (not surprising). In which case the petition is pointless.

 

But that might only make ot tougher for Gaga if she sees a petition wants to please everyone and knows she cant

 

Whether she wants to and cant, or she can but just doesnt want to, i think this is still a bit of pressure eitherway

I supposed Bobby’s account could be fake but Gaga’s was verified. She’s fully aware of the petition and if she didn’t at least slightly encourage it she wouldn’t link herself to it.

Wasn't gaga's account proven to be fake? the verified mark was part of the registered username, not a verification mark
