RAMROD 117,011 Posted March 31, 2021 Share Posted March 31, 2021 The urgent search continues for the man behind another brutal attack on an Asian American, after video showed him punching and kicking the 65-year-old woman on her way to church. It happened just before noon Monday in front of 360 West 43rd Street in Midtown, and police are hoping to identify the assailant in the unprovoked and vicious assault. Authorities say the victim was kicked and fell to the ground as the suspect made anti-Asian statements toward her. He then repeatedly struck her while she was on the ground, saying "(Expletive) you. You don't belong here." The victim was taken to the hospital, suffering a fractured pelvis and contusion to the head. Being racist itself is already wrong. But imagine being black and says stuffs like, "you don't belong here" to another member of POC and minority group. He think he got that power in USA, but authority is on his @$$ now and will punish him worse when he got caught than if the white folks do it. What a racist moron. Also it really broke my heart nobody defend her on the streets or come to check on her, them passerby just walked by, or just observe. The security guys on that building did nothing too. Imagine if that was your mother, or grandmother, how'd you feel?? This really upset me. Pleaae stop racist attacks to Asian, y'all! Maybe it's just at that moment the guards were trying to protect people in the building but it's heartbreaking seeing that. Imagine it's your mother and people ain't coming to help. So I wonder if this surge in anti-Asian hate crimes is a surge in media attraction to these cases or actual representation of a surge in anti-Asian hate crimes. It seems that recent anecdotally-substantiated emotional narrative (which is factually incorrect in so many ways) built around race relations in America made you believe that white people are the biggest perpetrators of hate crime or that black people are underrepresented as perpetrators of hate crime. Especially all of these elderly Asian women, I feel so terrible for all my Asian friends and Asian people in general that have these fresh fears of wanting to keep their parents and grandparents safe because of racist POS like this.
