You said the point was legality, and I explained to you how this is illegal 

"Consent" isn't relevant because in the US we do not consider a 14 year old to be able to consent to sexual contact from an adult. 

What am I missing? Please let me know.

And your only line of reasoning is that because YOU enjoyed sexual contact from adults when you were a young teenagers, these boys must have too, right? Or because in your society, it's fine for adults to have sexual relationships with children. That's not the case here. So buzz off. 

And where the hell is your "evidence"? There's no evidence that these boys lied or coordinated. All of this sh*t happened over the same few months last year before the first accuser went public, yet they all have extremely similar stories/experiences.

1. None of these kids posted James' actual nudes? Where is that coming from? The first of last month's accuser's posted the lewd pics James sent him, but the kids reacted/censored them so they were not naked. 

2. A minor lying about their age to an adult isn't illegal for the minor. Obviously idk the laws in every state and jurisdiction, but I've never heard about such laws. 

Age of consent laws are written in ways that protect minors. The major must take affirmative and reasonable measures to confirm the minor's age — simply taking the minor's word for it is NOT enough in all but like two states (Alaska and like one other state, maybe Arkansas?). 

Of course, legal vs moral is different and that's up to everybody. But God knows I'll never be caught sexually contacting a 14 year old under ANY circumstance that is just absolutely gross. If someone even looked remotely <18 y/o I would and have asked for an ID. That's what non-perverts do.... 

 

Also, just to be clear, it's not so much the JC scandal that "triggered" me. It's seeing people in this community STILL defending this man. That repulses me and makes me feel ashamed to be a member here where so many of you will defend the worst kinds of people. That's what I wrote a status ln expressing me desire to actually be connected with a community of Gaga stans that hold her values like I do.

I get why this whole situation is not okay and it’s inappropriate, but at the end of the day it’s not like these boys are shaking and attending therapy over this lmao. Stop acting like they are innocent little children when take it from me as someone in high school myself, they were probably into it. The way they approach this situation by posting on it on Tik Tok and being all humorous about it instead of taking this to the authorities says enough. No one was actually harmed here.
