What are some moments in Gaga's career that you associate with a bad time or incident in your life? E.g. your cat died the day Chromatica was released; you had a bad case of diarrhea when Gaga announced she was starring in AHS Hotel; you were charged with tax fraud the day Gaga did her Sound of Music tribute.

when i woke up to a text from my best friend messaging that the re scheduled JWT standing tickets i paid like £150 each resale prices for and it was within a week away of happening that it was cancelled again

and then it reminds me that i also overslept bc i lost my phone and missed billie eilish at a festival  idk if they were even at similar times but i associate them together

I used to watch the Marry The Night music video over and over again (Along with Ride by lana) when I was deeply depressed over this toxic relationship I was in, I can remeber my uni room vividly, there was even this air freshner I would always use that I cant smell now because of it, but when I listen to them it reminds me of a bad memory, but it makes me feel good now!

P.s if I ever hear "Good morning" on anything I always hear "morphine princess" Because of the sheer amount of times I watched it

when ARTPOP was released, my abusive boyfriend at the time was really acting out. i remember vividly him calling me and begging me to come back when i was in class and the sound of his voice on the voicemail. however the apologies never were genuine. i was in college and i spent my entire winter break depressed in my bed, and didn’t leave except to use the restroom and sometimes eat.

ARTPOP is a banger though and i love it. it was kind of a disaster like that relationship.  and, like that relationship, it will forever hold a place in my heart and helped shape who i am today

Although I’ve gotten over it by non-stop listening to it since it came out, around the release of ARTPOP and Prism was when I was s*xually assaulted my freshman year of high school. I have no problem listening to ARTPOP, but there are some songs from Prism by Katy that remind me of that era of my life. Still enjoyable, just have a weird negative nostalgia also connected to some songs if that makes sense.

Around the time Perfect Illusion and Joanne came out, I made out with my main high school crush and after, he effectively told me that he wasn’t interested in a relationship and he stopped talking to me. I was distraught, but it’s kind of funny now lmao.  I will forever feel soft for my high school self, he really powered through some tough life changes.

I have a few actually. 

During the Applause/ARTPOP era: I was doing very badly in my college classes. Ditching. Unmotivated. Barely doing homework. I couldn’t focus on anything and all I wanted to do was to be lazy.  

During the first half of 2017 (which included Gaga’s Halftime Show and Coachella/The Cure): I had my first career job after graduation (thankfully ) but it was such a toxic environment and not at all what I wanted to experience. I almost felt like quitting and I felt like 4 years of college went down the drain... I actually have a lot of Snapchat videos of this time period listening to The Cure and looking and feeling miserable.
