Yeah it’s shitty and I would never do it, but I can’t blame them that much. They are allowed to travel, they are not an at-risk population, and the EU has no set goal or plan to stop this situation. I’d blame the EU governments for having the worse covid responses throughout the world (especially for the developed world).
 

Life is back to normal in Israel, on the same track in the US, a lot of Far East Asia and Australia have been a success. It’s pretty embarrassing, there are vaccines but there’s no end in sight.

well, if you have hobbies, can go out for a walk/sports, can visit a select few people once in a while, its doable.. it's not optimal, I'd like to see more people, id like to travel, but its not the end of the world. We are not in a world war... people need to relativate their position compared to the worst of the worst.

I see where you are coming from, but Im not going to waste my energy and my time being upset or depressed all the time and I'm trying to deal with my own anxiety and spiraling negative thoughts, the only way is relativate and to oppose negativity with positivity. The regulations are out of my sphere of influence, I try to do whatever is within my means. That's why I said people need to relativate (if they aren't disabled or immuno compromized).

We are talking about young french people going on a holiday here... 

yes sitting at home is shitty, but come on, don't you guys realize the measures are gonna last longer for disabled people if we allow shenanigans like travelling to another country because "healthy young people" can't stand sitting at home. It's a conundrum, but we can also blame ourselves if we are going to talk about how sad it is for disabled people, while going on holidays when it's not advised.

that's why we need to stay at home. No its not easy, but in the grand scheme of things we have to.
