Is Madrid the only part of Spain to be open? Surely somewhere a bit closer to border would be less conspicuous :gum:

Lol, they actually have the right to do so. I don't think they should be blamed for trying to have some fun after more than one year of restriction. If Spain thinks they could not receive visitors, they would close their borders.

I'm French and I've got a friend who's in Erasmus in Spain for a year. Nothing's closed there and she's literally partying every night so it's kinda frustrating when in France we have had lockdown and curfew at 6pm for months.

There are too many people in France that still don't take it seriously and want to lift restrictions. Every Now and then there are topics trending on twitter with people saying that we should stop wearing mask and not limit gatherings.

People are just irresponsible and selfish. I know it's difficult times, but it is for everyone. They act like the government is against them and want to take their freedom just for fun...

But it’s been a year, you have to understand them. The government is acting stupid, we don’t need masks then suddenly it’s mandatory, we don’t need a curfew then we need one, we don’t have enough vaccine for everybody.

So Spain is the new Florida

No. Different Autonomous Communities have different restrictions. Madrid is one of the Communities with less restrictions.

The thing is non-Spanish people can travel to Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Seville, etc. but you can't travel from Barcelona to Madrid, for example. Travels inside the country are not allowed.

Of course the government made bad decisions, but who knew what to do 1 year ago ?

I understand that they want to go back to normal life, but we can't do this until enough people are vaccinated, yet people want to lift restrictions. It just seems irresponsible and a bit dumb, people will die :/

And those are l i e s.

We have to be locked at home at 10 PM, no parties, if she goes to a party, it's an illegal one. Parties aren't allowed. Actually my city is FULL of french tourists partying and drinking in the streets but I myself can't even go visit my grandparents even after being vaccinated. Irresponsible little pieces of ****.

Why not enjoy yourselves before everybody is forced to go back to work, the economy collapses, and these young people are plagued with repaying government debt for the rest of their lives
