ARTPOP era is a different story

But I'm sure we are past battling about the singles thing

Especially after staying with them for another albums

For Chromatica they had a plan, but Gaga changed everything. She even changed the released day because she didn't feel like doing it in that moment.

If she didn't perform with Rain On Me or Stupid Love more than once, why do you think she wanted more singles after that? Her family member was sick and now she's making a movie, it's just bad timing, not a label problem.

She performed Stupid Love and Rain on Me once! She did one perform in a year. I understand why she didn't want to promote things however she didn't have to act like she did nothing. I think she forgot she put out an album.

Edit: I thought you said the opposite. Oops!

I think it’s a little weird that once SL was released that was it besides the massive press junket of radio/tv interviews filmed on 15 March. SL never got anything else pre-lockdowns so I’m a little weary of this massive rollout that took eighteen months.

Ugh enough with the conspiracies. We’ll never know for sure but Gaga seems satisfied. She’s at a point in her career that she actually calls the shots. Interscope couldn’t stop her from doing G.U.Y. remember? Plus it’s not really the norm now to do a fully-fleshed out era. The only exception I can think of is Future Nostalgia.

Maybe they had this 18 months of planning on paper and once Covid came they throw them or who knows? maybe they gonna use the initial promo plan this year,if it’s possible..SL got its first performance during VMAS(in the end of August)almost 7 months after its release..They had little things in their hands and that’s why we got ROM and the album from February till August and September with 911 mv.She even herself said it in the billboard interview that they hadn’t planned TCB,which is not surprising considering they postponed it till 2021!!

Tbh interscope did stop her..Wasn’t there a statement that she paid with her own money to shoot G.U.Y mv?

When will people move on? She/the label clearly had HUGE plans for Chromatica. But a pandemic happened and the album release was during an important political and social movement....

Yeah..I’ve said it before but I could have waited for an year, when things start to go normal,to release Chromatica and show us it’s whole potential

Pretty sure Interscope gives her the artistic freedom that she wants and until that runs dry why would she change?

Its obvious Gaga doesn't want to be some cookie cut pop star ala Dua Lipa rinsing an album cycle to death. She wants to act, branch out musically, build her businesses, change the tone and art as she likes. Nothing wrong with that, in fact its going to keep her career going much longer.

You can't do a single when an artist doesn't want to promote it, lol

What do you mean? you sure can, look at stupid love and rain on me 🤢. I miss when our girl actually did promo interviews and piano versions

Exactly my point. She can do whatever she wants to even if Interscope isn’t interested. What I’m trying to say is she has more control over what she puts out.

I think it's hard to discuss on something we actually know nothing about.

But for me it kinda feels like they're busy pushing Billie to the topp, but I also think that Gaga is established enough now, to do what she wants, in terms of promotion and single choices etc.

If she wouldn't be happy, she would leave, I think.

trust is like a mirror, you can fix it if it's broken but you can still see the crack in that ************s reflection.

Some albums don't have the potential for more singles - ARTPOP one of them. The others definitely could've been milked and rerelease... The eras always feel designed frontloaded but with loads of promo and like 'meme' moments... This time it needed to be milked with another hit single. Oh well.

Stare at the Chartster in the mirror they talk to me too. #StreamFunTonight
