Rosé already sold 270K physical copies of her single album -R-, which consists of two songs and two instrumentals only. This is only half day tracking of FIRST day of sales.

Her company reported a total of 500k preorder, but likely be shipped in batches.

 

How i wish western artists including Gaga could have such selling power

Time has change. Now its the asian artists time especially korean and japanese artists sell a lot. 

Before western artists used to sell millions of singles and albums even BTW sold a million in a week

Eventhough it’s 5x more expensive but still cant compare with adele debut week. Maybe if she sells 1-1.5 million then we can compare the selling power with adele’s album
