Madonna stans did it to several pop girls. We did/do it to pop girls. Kpop stans are just as ugly as the rest of them. It's not mental illness, it's toxic standom. They'll grow out of it eventually the same way a lot of us grew out of it.

At some point, most Monsters figured out that we don't need Twitter tirades and OTT rants to back up Gaga's work because Gaga can stand on her own. BTS stans will learn eventually. This is their 2011/2012 era

That said, these threads will likely be closed sooner or later so they don't fester into something uglier than "lol look at the pressed stans, yas Gaga" 

I actually don’t remember anything this bad and I’ve been a Gaga fan since her debut so I’ve lived through all the petty stan wars. 

I only recall Madonna stans (on Madonnanation specifically) making comments wishing death and rape on Gaga and other artists, and most of her fans don’t claim the ones on that website. As much as they dragged Gaga, I don’t think they would wish that on her considering Madonna is a sexual assault survivor herself.

BTS “Army” is honestly more deranged than any group I’ve seen in years.

People have every right to speak out against racism within the world and the Grammys, but demonizing a human being who has done nothing wrong for simply being white isn’t helping anyone’s case. 
 

Also, Dynamite just isn’t a good song and the BTS Army’s reasoning of it being deserving of a Grammys are due to the fandoms own scamming tactics that made it #1 in the first place

Yes, but again nothing as vile as what I’ve seen today. But if you say they did then I’ll take your word for it because maybe I wasn’t as active on twitter back in the day.

My point is let’s not equate this with Bey stans calling Gaga a fad, or fans making fun of Katy flopping etc. It’s not the same. This is way worse than your average stan shenanigans and the people who made those tweets about Gaga should be held accountable and removed from Twitter.

BTS stans represent the dark and nasty core that is stan culture. They are extremely toxic and the examples shown in this thread is a real cause for concern. Report any 'ra*e' threats to Twitter and report thier accounts. 

What we're laughing about is the stans who are balling their eyes out cause their fave didn't win, or physically melting down... those people who are making threats like 'ra*e' are not funny and are actually really serious - which is why I said to report it to Twitter. Nobody that acts in that manner should be allowed a Twitter account, its disgusting

I have psychology master degree and now being involved in research, I see why many experts warned us about wrongly labeling random things and mental diseases and labeling some behavior as mental illness.

 

That is very dangerous and can be severely misleading and one of the reasons why many people does not perceive importance of expert diagnosis, mental hygiene and psychotherapy...

If you think it’s mentally healthy to threaten rape and assault out of anger about your fav not getting an award.
