I am very optimistic that the Boston date can happen. By the end of this month about 1/3rd of New England should be vaccinated, and the concert is still many months away.

The Superbowl was able to take place without being a super-spreader, so...

Am I the only one who genuinely doesn’t see how these capacity limits, and social distancing makes a difference? It makes so much more sense to lock down. I feel like the risk is too severe to casually go to restaurants, and concerts with “restrictions”. The US is just protecting companies with these lighter covid-precautions. When you’re installing plexi-glass and eating in tents it seems better to just stay home. :mark:

From which stand point you are basing these of? If you are foreigner and using the logic from the place you're from, that is not gonna work.

Alao nobody said anything about plexi glass or any barriers on the OP. What mentioned was reduced capacity which is really OK

As said before, US have a high vaccination rates, much like Israel and UK, which help the covid-19 infection rates to fall significantly, and by May 1st this year, we will start vaccination phase for general people aka people in productive age, and not part of the groups that were vaccinated early (medic, elderly, politicians, to name some), and this causes CDC to issue approval for vaccinated people to gather and live normally again without masks and social distancing. Which in turns help businesses to open uo and start activities again.

So this is really non issue cos soon everyone in USA who are vaxxed will go back to live normally again.

In France I started to get adds on YouTube to win free tickets for the Paris show a few days ago. If Gaga's team is doing such deals I suppose that for now they're still planning for the tour to happen at some point

Do we know it wasn’t or was it just not massively reported on? Because tbh I can’t believe it wasn’t a super spreader event :laughga: if there’s something g backing it up then sure I’ll believe it but my initial thought is just how could it not be hahaha

Oh no I mean for Americans lol they can completely do everything wrong and still because of their resources and entitlement get out of this first meanwhile less wealthy places will struggle for at least another year if not a bit longer

Entitlement more than wealth, because economically France is one of the most powerful countries in the world, we just have a sense of priorities

But the people at the gathering can still spread it to others outside of the gathering is what I mean, but of course ideally the most vulnerable/frontline workers will be vacced first anyway

By the time these shows would theoretically happen, the general population will have had access to vaccines for a month or more (thanks, Biden ).

I agree with your point, and I'm still going to be personally very cautious since I live with someone who isn't healthy enough to be vaccinated, but the risk will be low by then.

🌸Flourishing and vibrant🌼
