There's a difference IMO to living in a post-imperialist society (which the majority of members on this forum will be doing) to enforcing the last remnants of archaic structures of oppression and dominion. Do something worthwhile other than being in your little bubble that you seem to be in. I never mentioned or even talked about black Africans, nor did I even mentioned that "they need saved from themselves". You fail to see the bigger picture, you fail to see that people of colour are racially discriminated against in countries that are predominantly white, you fail to see that there are systems still in place that favour white people over people of colour. You're trying to make this situation all about you, and its not gonna work. What I'm talking about is the structures in place in the UK, and is similar to structures within the US. Of course if an incident occurred in which a particular person was racially derogative then that is serious and needs addressing but we don’t have all the facts and to accuse the entire royal family of racism is very unfair. Work? What work? You mean the numerous visits to commonwealth countries to look good and make it appear that they care? Some projects have been beneficial, but it doesn't reflect their true nature. The royal family don't do anything... and what's the Queen done? Nothing. All she does is sits in her palace and signs new bills that become law... even if those bills are harmful to society. She waves a sword about over people and suddenly that person is more important. The royal family hold no power. They're a rich family who live off the taxpayers money and do whatever they want. Racism has been a thing in the British monarchy for a long time. Phillip, Charles, and other members of that family have said racist things. And if you look at it's history, racism has been deeply rooted in that family for generations. So yes, the royal family is racist. The people in the monarchy who don't say anything are either being silenced or are complicit with that way of thinking. And nobody made any accusations yet y’all are hellbent on defending racism. Incredible. Don’t get me started on how the monarchy shouldn’t exist.
