I don’t think she will just retire. She may take a break though. I remember in 2015, we found that Gaga had a point where she thought that she wanted to quit music. There becomes a point where artists either become uninspired, overworked, or just confused on how to move forward with their career. Also, the fame and scrutiny can become unbearable and we have seen time and time again how the media likes to chew up and spit out women in the entertainment business

What?     You can't replace something you're already ahead of     both Katy and Demi can sing and are really talented. Selena can't sing, she can't write her own songs, she can't dance.... like come now

I doubt she‘ll retire from Music. It‘s something thats very close to her, but I can see why she would feel that way. The Labels are very success oriented so even if Selena gets a #1 Song and repeaked, people will always want to make more money.
