She evolved on May 29th 2020, I assume

The album is in the making since late 2017, it makes sense she moved one once the album was out

Maybe the proof albums that take years and years in the making are not lasting that long when they are out ? Especially when you're Lady Gaga ?

'This album (Chromatica) was my nature at the time. It still is, but I’ve also evolved. I can listen to what I sang and feel catharsis. I feel at peace with myself, and I feel strong and I feel powerful. Sometimes when you don’t feel great, you have to create it.”

Well that could explain why she's not that much into it anywore. She has moved on

HAHAHA when I read that I instantly knew someone would bring that up. :ladyhaha:

The "was my nature at the time" means that the problems and issues she wrote/sang about at the time (during those 2,5 years) was how she felt while making the album.

Obviously she has moved on, because otherwise she would still feel miserable and have suicidal thoughts as she talked about in an interview. So of course she has moved on from that (thank god)

And by "It still is" she means that obviously not all her issues are gone... like 911 - I'm sure she is still on medication... she still has chronic pain and ptsd... so some issues always remain... the evolving part is that she is a lot better now thankfully.

So that means in conclusion that Traumatica is not yet over. :selena:

Idk... she said she's "evolved" since then :selena:   I think she's moved on from Chromatica. Its a great album but maybe she feels driven by other things. That's okay.

At least we know why the Chromatica era isn't moving forward

She's said she "evolved" from where her head was at while creating the album many times before, it doesn't mean anything other than exactly what she said.

A lot of what she's saying here is resonating with me. I can really feel it and I'm glad she gave this interview, she put some words to things I couldn't express myself.

The only GGD member who can read / Credits to Celloo Deng for the profile pic!

This is amazing. She's so intelligent. I love Chromatica. It healed me a lot too. Born This Way was her cry for acceptance, Joanne was her exploring herself, and Chromatica is healing through dance and tears. UGH I love her. I am so grateful I get to enjoy this journey with her.

Inside, we are really made the same. 🕊

Omg, this interview is so good :enigma:

"As an artist, Gaga is an amalgamation of Broadway theatrics, compassionate vocals, precise poetics, dance music and Americana rock, and a mashup of platinum blonde pinup, actress, advocate, meat-suit model and musical royalty. Indeed, Gaga embodies the phrase, “The only constant in life is change.”

That quote is AMAZING, love that description, what an iconic legend :enigma:

Thanks for quoting that, you saved me the trouble. Kudos to the writer. Absolutely nailed it.

The fact is

The Fame is what she wanted in 2008

Monster is how she was feeling about being famous in 2009

Born this way is what she wanted to say in 2011

ARTPOP is how she was feeling in 2013

Joanne is what she was afraid to do in 2016

Chromatica is how she was feeling in 2020

Maybe LG7 will be something she wants to talk about LMAO :ally:
