Ian and Mickey getting their life to ROM is so jarring to me for some reason

Spoilers:

Ian and Mickey want to find gay friends. They find some, and go to a rooftop gathering with their new gay friends. It turns out they don't click with them because they are too stereotypical for Ian/Mickey. The stereotypical gays start dancing and singing to ROM. Ian and Mickey are about to leave. Until the stereotypical gays start having an orgy. So they join in.

Then the mid credit scene is Ian and Mickey singing ROM together in the bathroom. The song plays throughout the credits.
