So it’s basically a top up to the disastrous Universal Credit (and other welfare)?

I thought our social security system was a mess but boy the more I hear about universal credits the more I’m glad I don’t live there

Yeah, it is pretty much a top up. It’s a shame since the tories are cutting UC by £20

They aren't cutting the standard allowance at all. They will eventually cut the extra covid payment of £20pw but as of recent they've extended it another 6 months. Lets keep it factual please
